Proud of our achievements, ambitious for our future
Here at Strawberry Hill Day Nursery we have a lot to be proud of and would love to share with you some of our proudest moments.
Investors in People
In December 2009 we really saw a return on our commitment to our people when we received accreditation as an Investor in People organisation. We recognise that our people are our greatest asset and were delighted that this was acknowledged by the IIP Assessor.
NDNA
In 2011 Bertram Nursery Group joined the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA). NDNA’s vision is a society where all children and families receive the best quality care and learning that enables them to reach their full potential.
ECO Schools
We are registered as an ECO schools centre and are the proud holders of the much coveted green flag award in recognition of our commitment to being an environmentally friendly nursery. Our children are passionate recyclers and love nothing better than an afternoon caring for their garden. The nursery will continue in its green approach with the aim of developing children with a strong environmental awareness and little green fingers to care for the world around them for many years to come.
Supporting Charitable Organisations
Oh what fun we had when we ran special events to raise much needed funds for Comic Relief and Marie Curie.
