Strawberry Hill Nursery is located in Edinburgh, midway between Prestonfield and The Grange, on the corner of Minto Street and Blacket Avenue within a stunning, traditional Victorian villa which has been refurbished to the highest standards. The nursery is served by excellent public transport links and is just a short drive from the city bypass and the wider motorway network.
Playrooms & Garden
The nursery interior is carefully designed and has a number of rooms offering dedicated play areas for each age group. Rooms are well laid out and offer an excellent range of resources to support early learning.
There is a splendid all year round outdoor area where children enjoy regular fresh air, exercise and learning across all areas of the curriculum. Staff and children make fantastic use of the many surrounding facilities afforded by their proximity to the city including parks, gardens, theatres, the library and much more.
Early Years Care & Education
There is a vibrant and exciting atmosphere throughout the nursery with staff placing great importance on the quality of the early year’s experience. The staff team hold a variety of skills and qualifications all of which are valued in the rich tapestry of experiences the nursery has to offer.

The nursery is a recognised Investor in People and an ECO schools centre.
Opening Hours
Strawberry Hill operates in partnership with Edinburgh City Council to offer funded pre-school education sessions.
The nursery is open all year round for the following sessions:
Full Day Session: 7:45am to 6pm
Morning Session: 7:45am to 12:45am
Afternoon Session: 1:15pm to 6pm
